You are interested in working in an international non-governmental organization and eager to learn what is behind all the programming for children affected by conflict? You are enthusiastic and result driven. We can benefit from someone who is technologically savvy. You have an interest in how to bring about change in ways of working, notably the communication aspect of it. This is a multidimensional internship in which you have contact with various departments. We are really looking for a Jack-of-all-trades!
Your Challenge
You will support the members of staff who lead on the support processes in the organization: risk management, quality management, policy management, procurement, travel management, planning and control. You will assist in actual work, and you will participate in efforts to upgrade these and other processes. You can hone your communication skills when supporting the implementation across the organisation. Obligations you may have in relation to your study will be discussed with you in order to ensure that the time with War Child will contribute to your start in the job market.

We are looking for an Intern Shared Operations who will join Team Finance & Operations, from September 2025 for a period of at least 5 months, 4-5 days per week. As intern in War Child you can count on an interesting internship, with an opportunity to learn a lot. Of course you will get guidance, but also freedom to work out your ideas. You will receive an internship allowance of € 300, - gross per month, based on 40 hours per week.
Please note that War Child interns need to be enrolled as students at a Dutch educational institution for the duration of their internship. Please note that this internship does not suit students who are in their thesis writing semesters.
